Melbourne’s popular inner-north suburb of Abbotsford continues to attract creative tenants, with Fitzroys leasing an 1,060 sqm office to a fourth film production company within 12 months.

Fitzroys Sales & Leasing Executive Stephen Land negotiated the short-term agreement with Seaside Productions at $10,000 per month plus GST for the ground floor of 112 Trenerry Crescent.

Land said the film production groups have leased the space for periods of between three to six months at a time as most often they are filming nearby and only need the space for that period.

“The premises is fully-fitted with existing phones and furniture, which provides a plug- and-play office, while the large on-site parking allows additional storage for set props, trailers and other filming equipment.”

He said most of the building is let by other production companies, and as storage for production and film companies.

“Enquiry is received from various printing, manufacturing and fashion-type tenants, which often gravitate to the office and warehouse-style space that is popular around Abbotsford."
